We strive to create a safe environment that nurtures children’s interests and sense of discovery, whilst ensuring it provides a sense of security and an extension of the home environment We believe our role is an extension of this family experience, which is why we work collaboratively with families and their core values to provide their children with opportunities that challenge, stimulate and extend their individual learning.

What we provide

We provide the following services with the help of our dedicated, trained and experienced educators:

Nappies

We provide all the essentials for your child’s day-to-day, including nappies, cot linen

Nutritious meals

Nutritional meals cooked fresh daily by our in-house chef with seasonal food.

Sunscreen & Hats

We are a Sun Smart centre following the Cancer Council SA  SunSmart Early Childhood Program

Educational Incursions

We take various trips to help broaden the children to immerse themselves in  different environments

Community visits

We have organisations which we visit to help the children stay connected to the local community

Regular parent updates

Using Kinderloop we share learning outcomes to increase families understanding of their child’s day-to-day development

Our Fees

At Ridgehaven ELC we have very competitive rates that include all food, and nappies, wipes, hats, sunscreen and excursions.

CHILDCARE SUBSIDY

Your family may be eligible for the Childcare Subsidy (CSS). You will need to apply through Centrelink and funds will be deducted from your child care fees, meaning you will only need to fund the ‘gap’ amount.

This amount varies depending on your families individual circumstances. There are a number of contributing factors to determine your subsidy through Centrelink.

You are able to apply for CCS by contacting your local Family Assistance Office (FAO), situated in Centrelink, or by phoning 136 150.

We recommend that you apply for CCS prior to commencing care at our centre. This will ensure you receive your entitlement from the day you start.
